Purpose. This initiative is intended to be a natural continuation of previous activities organized in Santa Barbara (1998) and Leiden (2000) and is aimed to reinforce the scientific exchange in the growing community of researchers on Bose-Einstein Condensation in atomic gases. Location. Most of the activity will be hosted by the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*), located near the Physics Department of the University of Trento. The Summer Programme consists of: Informal activity involving the simultaneous presence at ECT* of 18-20 scientists, balanced between senior and young researchers. List of participants A more formal Workshop on "Recent developments in the physics of cold atomic gases" to be held at the Physics Department in Povo, Trento in the period 15-18 July.
