The most convenient way to reach the Physics Department is to take BUS number 5, which leaves every 20 minutes from the train station. Depending on your accommodation, other useful bus stops can be in Piazza Fiera and Piazza Venezia. Tickets are not sold on board, so please remember to buy one before getting on the bus. You can get tickets at the bus station (close to the train station), at "Tabacchi" or newspaper shops.

Bus number 5 leaves from the train station at 09, 29 and 49 minutes past the hour. The bus ride lasts about a quarter of an hour. You should get off at the bus stop just after the sign POVO. If you ask the bus driver, ask about Scienze-Fisica-Povo in order to be sure that you do not get dropped off instead at other University Departments which are on the same road. From the bus stop, you should walk in the direction where the bus came from, going straight on at the roundabout. Then you will find the Faculty of Science, where the Physics Department is located, on your right.

In order to reach Povo by car, you can start in Trento from Piazza Venezia and drive up the hill in Via Venezia. After a few bends, you should turn right over a small bridge and follow the road till you reach the sign POVO. Just after that, you should turn left aroud the roundabout. Then you will find the Faculty of Science, where the Physics Department is located, on your right. A large car park is not available not far from there. You should drive 100 mt further and you will see it on the left side. If you come from Villazzano, you should go straight on at the roundabout.

If you wish, it is possible to go back to Trento on foot (a nice half-hour walk downhill!).
